Nominations are now open for the Columbus Chamber’s 2014 Small Business Awards. Businesses can submit their information, or anyone can nominate another company. Submissions must be for small businesses with fewer than 500 employees.

Applications are accepted through Friday, October 18th. Nominated businesses will be notified in late October for additional application information to be completed by Friday, November 8th. Finalists will then be recognized in December with winners announced at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on February 5, 2014. The event will take place at the Convention Center, with ticket pricing at $75 for Chamber members and $95 for non-members. Tickets are $100 after January 1, 2014. Groups can also purchase tables of 10.

Awards will honor both individuals and businesses. The Small Business Leader Award recognizes a professional who has shown exceptional leadership abilities in a variety of areas, while the Small Business Award of Excellence acknowledges a business that has proven success, seeing an increase in sales and employees, while contributing to the community.

Nomination forms can be found here.
